Four More Epic Smoothie Recipes!!

Smoothies are fantastic! Whether they are for a meal, a healthy snack or anything in between they are versatile and healthy. One of the best things about smoothies is how creative you can be with the recipes you use. You could try many different flavours, ingredients, supplements and so on and probably come up with something great!

Espresso Smoothie

1 banana chopped

1-1/14 cup of vanilla almond milk

½ cup of brewed espresso

2 scoops of smooth peanut butter

Blend together until smooth and enjoy a more complete version of your morning coffee

Mint, Strawberry and Green Tea Energy Smoothie

1 ½ cups of green tea (brewed and chilled)

2 ½ to 3 cups of cubed, seeded and chilled watermelon

1 cup of fresh strawberries

3 tbsp of fresh lemon juice

5-8 fresh mint leaves

½ a tsp of moringa powder

Blend until smooth. For ideal results put a glass in the fridge while preparing for maximum chill effect on a hot summer day. For even better results, make ice cubes with fresh mint frozen inside the night before and put in the smoothie.

 

Avocado Morning Smoothie

1 cup of unsweetened almond milk

1 cup of baby spinach

1 small pitted avocado

1 banana chopped

2 tablespoons of maple syrup

1 teaspoon of wheatgrass powder

Throw all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Best served chilled.

 

Big Red Smoothie

½ cup of fresh raspberries

½ cup of frozen pitted cherries

1 cup of vanilla flavoured almond milk

2 tbsp of crystalized beet powder

Blend until smooth, serve and enjoy! Make sure not to spill because this smoothie stains!
