If you want healthy, shiny, stunning hair, look no further than this recipe! Castor oil is regularly used as a beauty remedy for the hair. It is typically heated up briefly in a pan and applied warm onto the hair and left for a certain amount of time before being washed out. This recipe is for a mask that will stimulate hair growth, hydrate and protect your hair and rejuvenate your scalp. Here is what you need and what you have to do:

  1. ¼ cup of castor oil
  2. 4 drops of rosemary essential oil
  3. 4 drops of ylang ylang essential oil
  4. 2 drops of mint essential oil
  5. ½ a tablespoon of coconut oil

Take a frying pan and put it on the stove top, put the setting to a low temperature and put the castor oil in the pan once it begins to get hot. Mix the ½ tablespoon of coconut oil in with the castor oil and let it melt. Once the coconut oil has melted, add in 4 drops of rosemary essential oil, 4 drops of ylang ylang essential oil and 2 drops of peppermint essential oil. Let the mixture heat in the pan for 5 minutes and then remove the pan from the heat. Put the mixture in a bowl and let it cool a tiny bit before applying. Apply the mask evenly throughout the hair, focusing mostly on the scalp and tips of the hair. Once the mask has been applied, wrap a towel around your hair and leave the mask in for a minimum of 30 minutes. After the time has passed, wash and rinse the mask out thoroughly.
