Bath Time!

There is nothing quite like sinking deep into a nice warm bath at the end of the day. Feeling your muscles relax in the water, dimming the lights and maybe lighting up a few candles instead. There are many interesting and cool ways you could actually make your bath time even more relaxing and luxurious. It’s important to treat yourself to a little bit of rest and relaxation sometimes, especially if you have a busy schedule and if you happen to have time for something like a bath, you might want to make the most of it. The best thing is that you could enhance your bath right at home without having to buy any products that could be full of chemicals and irritants. Here are a few extra tips and tricks to set the mood for the perfect bath.

Recharge

You will need:

  • 5 drops of grapefruit essential oil
  • 5 drops of cardamom essential oil
  • 1 drop of wintergreen essential oil
  • 1 handful of dried rosemary
  • ½ cup of Dead Sea salts

 

Draw the water and add the oils as the water rises. Once the bath is at a level you prefer, add in the dried rosemary and Dead Sea salts and go into the bath. This blend will help you relax and feel absolutely revived.

 

Refresh

You will need:

  • 5 drops of bergamot essential oil
  • 2 drops of lime essential oil
  • 3 sachets of peppermint tea (they aren’t just for teacups anymore!)
  • 3 sachets of green tea

 

Peppermint and green tea are not just good for drinking; they also have benefits for your skin! They tone, refresh, clean and quench your skin, mixed with these two zesty citrus essential oils you will be shining bright and smelling amazing.

 

Mellow

You will need:

  • 5 drops of lavender aspic essential oil
  • 5 drops of chamomile essential oil
  • 3 drops of marjoram essential oil
  • 1 handful of dried lavender flowers
  • 1 handful of dried chamomile flowers
  • 2 hibiscus tea bags

 

  • ½ cup of Epsom salts

 

 

For those of you who have a little trouble sleeping, draw yourself this wonderful, soothing bath. This floral mixture will help ease any mental tension you may have while the Epsom salts help your muscles relax too!
